Tonhain Kollektiv e.V. is a group of young, dynamic musicians who strive to reinvent the chamber music scene in Berlin.

With our permanent residency at Tonhain, an intimate new concert hall in Steglitz, and our unique collective leadership structure, we aim to create an innovative center for chamber music which features Berlin-based musicians of the younger generations. In our roles as performer-organizers, we seek to find connections between our craft and a wide range of other fields. Through interdisciplinary concert formats, programming works relevant to contemporary society, and using the tools of the digital age while maintaining the highest artistic quality, Tonhain Kollektiv will reach a younger and broader audience than the typical chamber music concert.

We invite our audience to join us in exploring the many roles the arts play in our society, interconnections between music and other fields, and the unique opportunities and challenges we face as musicians in the 21st century.
